HKQAA Staff Portal - for users using Android 2.3 or below.

Users using smartphone or tablet running Android 2.3 or below may encounter problem using the staff portal. It's caused by a bug in Andoid System. This FAQ page is dedicated to resolve the problem of using the Staff Portal with Android 2.3 or below.

Q 1:
 What software I need to access the HKQAA Staff Portal?

If you are using Android 2.3 or lower, you need Firefox for Android to access HKQAA Staff Portal. Please click the following link to access the play store and install Firefox for Android. Please be reminded the file size of Firefox for Android is over 18M, you are recommended to download it with WiFi connection.

 How to check the version of the Android system?
  1. Click the application button in the home screen.

  3. In the Setting Application, scroll all the way down to the button of the list. Find and click the "About Phone"

 How to use Firefox to access the HKQAA Staff Portal?
  1. Launch Firefox for Android
    Go to https://hk.hkqaa.org. Click the link "Click here to logon to the HKQAA Staff Portal"

  2. You will be prompted for a security confirmation

  3. Click "I Unerstand the Risk", then click "Add permanent exception"
